Comment: When I took my young children to the doctor

one of the questions in the new patient forms was if there were guns in the house. It was next to the question of whether there was a swimming pool at our house. I chose not to answer the gun question. The doctor did not ask me to complete the form.

I went to law school in SF with lots of liberal people. I am trying to get through to them on Facebook. Today I asked them this: "Do you think if the lefties viewed gun rights as a civil rights issue they would come to the defense of their fellow Americans?"

I also wrote a much longer post where I asked them to question their prejudices against gun owners, who have been stereotyped and vilified just as other groups have been in the past.
