because the articles and state constitutions were means to decentralize power-which we can all at least agree, is the problem. "anarchy" in the mad max sense you're thinking about probably wouldn't occur as you're thinking. voluntary interactions could take place of violent coercion in the manner that the Acadians experienced.

all rothbard or any ancap is really saying is that state governments are equally as liable and dangerous because they can be willingly co-opted, subverted, used against the people, etc.. so instead of a few small states, every man should be sovereign.. which to my understand was the initial purpose of the formation of this country.
