Hahaha! That was some awesome reading. Extremely painful but awesome. Kudos to you for hanging in there so long! When he said he would make a list of the "tough" section of the Bible I was expecting the typical: predestination/free will, the trinity, "contradictions", once saved always saved...stuff like that. When it was "how many cups", "elders" and "congregations", I literally laughed out loud and thought, no wonder he has trouble understanding the Bible. I showed to a missionary pastor friend of mine that is in town visiting and he laughed as well. I think your assessment of him was right on the money.
