This is justification for a military coup,...

Civil authority at the federal level has clearly failed; when this happens, it is the responsibility of the U.S. Military (chiefly the U.S. Coast Guard), to step in.

Career military, especially combat troops are largely "thrill seekers" who lack self esteem. This is why they are so ready to unquestionably follow dubious, but official authorities. However, as the tide of public opinion has turned against the U.S. government, these military members (citing the oath, as a "security blanket) will switch their allegiance to the people. Ever watch "Bones"? The FBI agent on the show is quite typical of this breed. Governor Jesse Ventura, on the other hand, is at the other extreme; however, one does not need many "Jesse Venturas" to "get the job done." Ventura is more like the submarine commander in "Last Resort"; and, reading between the lines, the recent incidents involving Navy Flag officers and ship's captains suggest a struggle is already taking place within the Navy between genuine patriots and traitors loyal to the elites.
