Comment: Great story, but one glaring factual error.
Great story, but one glaring factual error.
No one drank kool-aid in Guyana. WE drank the kool-aid here in the US. The Medical Examiner in Guyana declared all 400+ victims death to be murders. They tagged and identified every body. 3 days later, the US sent people in, they ripped off all the tags, claimed they found 500+ MORE bodies UNDER the bodies that the Guyanese had ID'd and tagged. The US said identification was impossible because in the tropical climate, the bodies were too decayed from sitting for 3 days. And they came up with the kool aid story.
Wipe that kool-aid mustache off your lip now, OK?
:)
