Me Too!

I found a piece of metal in the middle of a rock I cracked while excavating a new basement. It was small and silver and shaped like a miniature hammer. I took it to scientists at the university and they confirm that is was an alloy of lithium they didn't know existed and dated it at over 100 million year.

I then took it from them before they could show anyone or take pictures of it, took the spectrometer readings so I could show my friends, deleted the electron microscope images from their hard drive, and put it in a sock at the bottom of a chest where I keep my blankets.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain
