It is never trivial when one is attempting to usurp unalienable

rights specifically outlined for protection in the Constitution.

I appreciate President Clinton's advice to democratic legislators - even though he is performing a balancing act while doing so.

The system of government of the US is not a democracy. Thomas Jefferson once said:

"Democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where 51% of the people may take away the rights of the other 49%."

That is why the Founders created a constitutionally limited republic. It should never be forgotten that the influence of a government resides in the consent of the governed.
