Very true

All the more reason to try every possible peaceful option there is.

Working in advertising for the past decade, we have come to a place in the industry where brands need to become 'Content Producers' to keep people engaged with their brands. It's something they're really not used to because it needs to be honest. Consumers are becoming more aware and informed about the products they consume.

Many consumers are now also becoming 'Content Providers' with blogs, YouTube channels, etc., and having honest opinions about products and services. THIS is what I see as the greatest cause of real 'from the ground up' change in society: People producing content. Human connection is becoming the new face of online entertainment. All the fakery is still being blasted on tv for those still "plugged in to the matrix" but it's dying slowly. We see the evidence with dropping ratings on the major networks. Yes, there is way more "garbage on tv these days but that's because they're trying to stay relevant and desperately want to keep "dumb" interesting and popular.

Ok, not sure where I was going with all that, but there is a shift happening in society that people are pretending isn't happening. And that's a very good sign of coming changes. The more people get out there and start blogs, channels, websites, whatever—the more real content there is out there for people to create and share. Also, many people trying to wake up others may find it a lot easier to tell someone to check out their website or blog rather than try to have a conversation (usually turning into a confrontation) about these issues. That's leading by example rather than imposition.
