There are no anarchies in the world. That's because every time there is a semblance of anarchy, a cooperative quickly forms, or a leader quickly emerges, that becomes the government. Or that's my impression. So to me it's partly a question of whether I want to be able to choose what kind of government to live with that will enforce some measure of contracts and rights and will stop any random gang from taking control of everything. Some group will take control somehow. So to me anarchy is as flawed and hopelessly idealistic as communism. The psychopathic authoritarians need to be held down by a government structure that limits the power they can achieve, and by a government force strong enough to stop very small groups from taking over but weak enough to allow for pressure from the masses of ordinary citizens.
