If you truly took that as a take away from that conversation, then I don't think you read it at all.
I never once debated him, nor argued with any of his points, nor did I have any interest in changing his mind.
I attempted to "put aside those things we agree on or that I already understood", in an effort to understand some finer details, but he kept ignoring my attempts to move the discussion forward and insisted that I was debating and arguing things that I wasn't.
I sincerely would have liked to have finished that thread with him, but he decided it wasn't worth his time, which is fine, but it left me still curious (with unknown information).
