-- you kind of make a point in the opposite direction. There is a similarity between how the priests and gatekeepers of 'science' orthodoxy throw a conniption fit if anyone dares to question their dogma, and how those who push the official stories in history and politics throw a fit if anyone questions them.

Kind of like the way the Stratfordians idolize their conception of Shakespeare so much that they almost act as if it's religious heresy for the Oxfordians to point out another possible explanation that better fits the evidence.

Everybody starts off with some assumptions, some theories, and everyone is biased towards those. It's not a one-way street in that regard.
