The proposed system

A centralized system (that will inevitably require a central body to rule on any final decision) in which individuals have little to no input on how the majority (governed by their wisdom) decides how to allocate the resources of others.

In this beautifully "designed" democratic "system" will all involved put away their selfish behavior and work rather than rest?

Will they make decisions based on the best interest of the whole rather than vote themselves benefits?

Will they look to the state (system) for sustenance as thought it flows from some imaginary lacteal vein?

Or will they turn from it's promises and concentrate on fulfilling them?
