No, however its usually banned by most

local zoning ordinances. The founders never foresaw the need to put into the bill of rights, the right to grow your own food. Its OK to put herbicides, pesticides and chemical fertilizers all over an urban lawn, but heaven forbid someone puts an organic garden in their front yard.
