but "get lost?" Definitely not into the respect part, eh? With people responding to an opinion in such ways, there is no need to "claim" intolerance. It is self-evident.
I am not the victim. Liberty is. The future may well be the victim, if the many instances of religious politics of the last 2000 years mean anything at all. It is willful blindness to think the entire bloody lineage of Christianity, by which every modern Christian came to their religion, was entirely "false Christianity." People have been killed and are being killed. The "Christian nation" is (again or still?) violently opposed to other belief systems and increasingly intolerant of the non-religious. I'm just glad the framers were a little wiser and set it up so you can only say rude things instead of sending crusaders or inquisitors or conquistadors or royal armies or lynch mobs or protestants or catholics or any of the other actual Christians who have set out to kill people like me and you in the past. Keep talkin' all you want. I won't even tell you to get lost.
Go ahead though. Ignore the point and bring on the personal attacks. It is afterall the internet. Speaking in a civil manner is obviously unnecessary and apparently undesirable. Do you think "true Christians" talk to people like that? Do they honor the Christian god in doing so?
