In the film "Soylent Green", soylent green was long pig.
In Harry Harrison's novel "Make Room Make Room" (from which the film was adapted), soylent green was soy and lentils.

Morbid trivium: Edward G Robinson's last gig before his own demise was the death scene he played in SG.
