On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being "not a problem" and 10 being "grab your gun and storm the Capitol" I'd give this a 3. If I'm the police officer I'm still going to enforce the ruling. It is unrealistic to think a police officer can just ignore the orders from a democratically elected government when they feel it was the wrong call. If everyone just upped and walked out every time a superior did something questionable we'd all be getting new jobs every week.
I'm not saying it's right and I'm not saying it isn't shitty...I'm saying put it in perspective. When people see you flipping out over a "3" they ignore you so when it is actually a "9" you can't get anyone's attention.
