my father, a brilliant scientist, who fought in WWII, talked about it all the time--

it was quite openly known then that wealthy members of every ethnic group/nation did not care about the poor among them.

There is no 'news' in that--

but it's good to be reminded. That didn't just happen with the Jews. Stalin was very Russian, and he killed Russians who weren't Jews--

There are always monsters who will betray and destroy their 'own' people--

always, always.

A sad reality that everyone seems to forget in moments of passionate patriotism--
