These people are very aware that there were rogues among their ancestors (since everyone is now dead who had anything to do with it)--

who didn't mind destroying their 'own'--

EVERY group, if it is honest with itself (and these people are) can affirm that there are those within that group, who identify themselves with that ethnicity or religion or language or nationality--

who would kill others within the group for money or power--

It's time to acknowledge that--
