What is the point of this story, or the post?

This story and Post are an excellent example of the distractions that keep Americans twisted up on meaningless topics as we are robbed blind and about to be disarmed.

What a joke. Is the pastor a jerk? That is for his congregation to decide.

Was it wrong for this waitress to get fired? I highly doubt a great employee was fired over this - but it is not really my business.
It ranks right up there with parrot finds way home. Cute but that is it.
