Please define "defending" the 2nd amendment
And who, if anyone, in your opinion has "defended" the 2nd amendment.
And what exactly did they do that qualified them as a "defender" - why has "no soldier alive" ever performed that specific act?
The military oath swears to defend the Constitution against foreign AND domestic enemies...how does one defend the "Constitution" itself?
March? Protest? Vote? Give speeches? Physically fight an attacking enemy?
What about the military oathkeepers - are they not defending the 2nd amendment?
Just asking...
