Well honestly Brian, me too

My wife was helping me figure this out the other night over drinks. She's incredibly helpful because she has an outside perspective. She reads this site on occasion, but doesn't pay too much attention. She's a brain scientist, with a real job (unlike me).

But she knows what is going on, because I give her the play by play. I keep her updated, just as she keeps me updated on what is going on at her work - the players, the politics and the developments.

So on that night that Rand endorsed Romney on Hannity, I was here listening to the video. We were packing, getting ready for that trip to China the next day. So the video is playing, and Rand is going on about how he's endorsing Romney and she blurts out, "That is disgusting."

Of course it was. And we all know he's playing the game, blah, blah, blah. But there is a difference, and what we came up with was that people support(ed) Ron Paul, and were attracted to him because he is a kind man. Above all, his kindness and goodheartedness shines through. And I think that is important to many people.

Rand is pretty cold blooded. Like a reptile. Ron & Carol got 30 minutes notice that he was going on Hannity to endorse Romney. That's pretty cold. And maybe that's what the country needs - who knows. But I know that I felt a personal attraction to Ron that I don't feel for Rand.
