I wonder...
Do you think any Sheriffs might do something like, not say it very loudly or publicly? Maybe just talk to the locals in person, and have a posse ready to go but no one really needs to know that? Idaho strikes me as a place where something like that might happen, only 5 Sheriffs does not really fit with what the general attitude in the state seems to be.
