In reply to comment: I see now (see in situ)

Consider this: Christians accept Christ as God, Jews do not.

If you believe the Bible is the word of God, then ONLY ONE of these two belief systems can be correct.

One of them willingly and with full knowledge of Christ, accepts Him as the Son of God, and the other does not.

And only ONE of the two can be the truth.

The other is blasphemous and will (according to the Word of God), be damned for eternity.

I am a Christian. I accept Christ as God. But I have no PROOF. That's why it's called FAITH.

And I fully understand that the Jews may be correct and I could be WRONG.

If this is the case, then I would be damned forever when I die because the Ten Commandments say if you worship false gods, then THAT will be your fate.

Indeed it's the very FIRST commandment.

And THAT is the commandment which the Jews felt Christ was causing people to violate. Thus to them, Christ was blaspheming against GOD and had to be put to death.

Maybe the Jews ARE correct, and Christ was NOT God, but rather an imposter which is why they killed Him.

SO...ONE of the 2 belief systems is wrong and will be damned forever according to the Word of God.

It is explained in the Bible that only those who have been EXPOSED to the story of Christ, and still choose to reject Him, will not be saved.

But the Jews also see this as blasphemous and consider Christians as still worshiping a false god (Christ).

But again, NEITHER SIDE HAS ANY PROOF. We simply are exposed to the story of Christ (as God' son) and choose to accept it or not.

There simply is no scenario where both sides can be saved.

I fully know this when I choose to accept Christ.

But I cannot (because I have no proof), say the Jews are the WRONG ones.

After all, they are considered "God's chosen people" and if we Christians ARE wrong about Christ being God, then God help us.

Because according to the Bible, if we're wrong, we're breaking the first commandment and we're screwed.

As for any other religions, again, according to the Bible, they will not be judged and condemned if they never were exposed to, or fully understood the story of Christ.

You must have been exposed to Christ, and with full consciousness, make your choice in order to be judged one way or the other.
All that having been said, there are other possibilities...

1. There are those who say the God of Abraham is just a story based on Jewish ancestry and has no basis in fact.

They say the Bible is just a collection man-made stories and that the Judeo-Christian God is just that - a story which means nothing and that when we die, that's it. We just lose consciousness and there IS no hereafter. And no "God" as Judeo-Christians envision.

2. There are countless other religions and belief systems (Muslim, Buddhism, Hindu, sun worshippers, believers in aliens etc), any one of which could be the actual truth.

I fully understand all these as possibilities as well.

I still choose to accept Christ as the Son of God and my path to eternal salvation.
