I Disagree with Cruz on this issue, but there is no evidence that he is a chickenhawk, he is too young and pursued an academic route in life...with no evidence that he did it as a means to avoid military service.

The slate article only shows that hagel called it a "sickening slaughter" on both sides. Cruz was just arguing that that included calling what Israel did a "sickening slaughter" and so he disagreed and rejected that israel should even be considered to be committing a sickening slaughter.

He may be parsing words, but he isn't making a false argument.

and now you just, in an unrelated to the Hagel nomination, attack his wife and his religion. Cool story bro.
