I am not defending the poster but, in my view, a chickenhawk strictly speaking is someone who does not join the military and put his own life on the line but is willing to send others in harm's way. If Cruz wants to commit us to the defense of Israel, he would seem to qualify. He's had every chance to join the military and walk the walk.
