I'm well aware

of the fact that contracting with the military doesn't mean one is defending the 2nd amendment...however, Tom's comment that "no soldier alive has ever defended the 2nd amendment" was rather off base. Using your definition above...peaceful resistance, letting others know that unconstitutional laws are not laws, having a case heard in court, etc. - are you (and Tom) claiming that NO soldier alive has ever participated in any of your stated actions - even oath keepers?
That's bunk.

Let's clarify - being in the military doesn't guarantee that one is defending the military - however, it also does not guarantee (as claimed) that one has NEVER defended the 2nd amendment.
