Heinlein is an author I have enjoyed since my teens.
I purchased a leatherbound, unabridged version of the
Stranger in a Strange Land, and read it to my sons
about 10 years ago.
Grok, from Stranger, was a word a Martian used to
express understanding, usually beyond the superficial
meaning of understand.
Sci-Fi has lots to offer, beyond the Action pieces.
Though that is all Hollywood seems to care about.
