I agree that plants can provide complete proteins. I am careful to combine them properly.

I have seen some teen vegans who become very ill. They think as long as they avoid meat they can eat anything to survive and have no knowledge about nutrition or deficiencies.

Any diet can lead to ill health if the person eats without knowledge of what the body needs for health.

The western world is full of victims of diabetes, heart disease, stroke victims...all brought on by wrong eating. Then they fall victim again to the medical-pharmo industry where a pill is the answer! Being healthy takes thought and work.
