This is, if nothing else, completely disastrous from a PR standpoint. Ron's not that dumb, period. He wouldn't alienate 90 percent of potential liberty converts, even if he did feel this way.

The only way I could see this being on purpose is if he was prepared to make the media rounds and debate every pundit out there and use it for massive publicity.....but that seems far-fetched.

Short of that, I say either they got to him, are spiking his OJ or something, or we're watching saboteurs derail the new media operation Ron Paul was planning.
