Our military is a mercenary force now. Paying people to kill and pinning medals on them for being good at it makes what begins as honor in a man and twists it to profitability. Chris took a little too much pride in his trophies, although I suspect it was his way of justifying his life to himself... He was neither hero nor villain, but a mixture of both. Like all of us.
