In reply to comment: I have to add... WAH (see in situ)

Your abusiveness is exceeded only by your ignorance.

You don't know anything about me and what I have done and still do so as to keep eternal vigilance. I will stack my efforts, inside the GOP and out, against yours any day. In fact, I was RP's official campaign spokesman for his Presidential Campaign in my state- in 08! I got that job by helping an outsider with no money win two state wide Republican Primaries, the second time as Campaign Director. I did the County Committee thing, was Vice Chair in fact. Everything you are urging people to do in the GOP, I have already done. Instead of lecturing me, you would be wiser if you asked the right questions and listened.

You know, at some point the Founders just decided that continuing to play the game and work the Royal system was not helping anymore. They would go through the process, get their petitions together, and then see them ignored. They would elect leaders only to see them sacked. They did not quit working for liberty when they quit going through the official hoops of the day, they just went from an ineffective means of fighting for their liberty to an effective one.

We have a captured party system that is analogous to the official system King George set up to deal with grievances. There is an elaborate process set up, but in the end its a private club and those at the top who fund it will do it their way. Fortunately, we can still operate outside that system, but it will be a process.

Localism is for people who can still sleep at night even though somebody they don't know in a city they have never been is doing things differently. ("Localism, A Philosophy of Government" on Amazon for Kindle or Barnes and Noble ebook websites)
