I'm trying to see what a normal Republican sees

To advance the cause and help influence typical Republican thinking towards liberty we must first understand typical Republican thinking. Here's what we're dealing with (

I'm a 21 year old kid waking into GOP meetings with men and women twice and trice my age. I'm here to tell you that people don't like being lectured by a kid like me. I've been taught you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. The only real way I can reach most conservatives is by asking questions. Get them talking and then ask a question with a truth bomb like this:\
"So, if terrorists are really trying to get a WMD into America, why won't our Government secure the border?"

Then reply to their denial with: "We have 1,000,000 troops overseas but if we bring half of them home we can put an armed man every 200 foot of the border all the way around. That would stop the terrorist threat, keep national defense up, stop drug importation and illegal immigration."

Just like that, a seed of liberty has been planted. A brush-fire of freedom can be lit in the mind of another with a simple question.

I don't think I'll get anywhere in this politics thing making people mad at me and yelling at them when I lose. I was taught to shake my competitor's hand after I won and congratulate him when I lost.

Ron and Rand Paul are true gentlemen and I admire that. Ron Paul didn't go around throwing fits and protesting the election. He politely declined to endorse anyone and went about his business. I attribute a calm demeanor and friendly compromising attitude to most of Rand's success. Rand is making friends, Rand is on TV, Rand is compromising(AKA building coalitions), Rand can friggin win this thing!

Justin Amash is on the GOP's craplist right now. He's not running for President and he's definitely not winning. The GOP will make sure of that.

It's time to make a stand with Rand, be Rand Paul RepubliCAN
