for almost 40 years, several times a year- ron paul would wake up at 5am, grab his youngest granddaughter and travel 2-3 hours ONE WAY through our HUGE district up to IAH(Houston intercontinental airport which sits on the OPPOSITE side of Houston from his home in Clute) drive through downtown houston at rush hour if need be). why?

Simply to meet a returning vet to meet him at the gate and give him the medal he earned and do so right in front of his family when he disembarked the plane.
