did not have a dominant purpose for the issue at hand, because money changers were there before the Roman Empire's rule. Jesus, like you, understandably was upset that exchange rate differed from one day to another. Being envy from observing that someone is getting rich out of voluntary exchange is understandable too. Little has changed in the world since Jesus time.
