Comment: Libertarians

Some are born; the government makes the rest.

Mackey is a liberal who was made into a libertarian by the government--that's my take. So, he probably didn't study economics in school, but learned it on the job. He's a retailer, and retailers need to be socially tolerant or they lose customers.

I saw a notice at one of his stores calling for support of mandates on food labeling; don't know if it was official. Mandates and licenses for labeling is, of course, a violation of the right to free speech.

He's not "pure," but we're working on him.

He's got the best health insurance plan you can have, given the current regulatory situation--I wish I had it.
