I think I understand it now

Most Rand Paul hate is coming because he's on TV and is popular with Republicans. People see Rand Paul as part of the establishment now and not being rebellious enough in the spotlight.

I feel like some people (hipsters) will hate the establishment even if the establishment becomes what they believe. I think that's the case with many Rand haters.

I see Rand Paul on the news and I get excited. It makes me optimistic to hear the older establishment Republicans that blindly vote R every election say they like Rand Paul. Even if they don't agree with most of our, in their eyes, extreme Libertarian principles as long as they like Rand Paul it's a huge victory for the Liberty movement. The movement is becoming the establishment and it's thanks to people like you and many others here's hard work and perseverance through adversity.

I'm warning you, brace yourself. Over the next ten years there will be many people calling themselves Libertarians that don't have the slightest clue. It's going to be brutal to watch for you guys but remember that you are the top tier leaders and examples for these people. People like me, but even worse. I'm late to the Ron Paul party and I wouldn't disagree if someone accused me of jumping on the liberty bandwagon. It's cool, it's a good bandwagon to ride on and I'm not getting off lol.
