You are dead wrong. Furthermore, what you're espousing is very dangerous if anybody heeds your advice. Even status quo organizations are recognizing the dangers of a high carbohydrate diet. A 10-10-80 Protein, fat, carb diet is a recipe for a disaster on a number of different levels. A calorie is not just a calorie which has recently been recognized by the AMA. Calories in the form of carbs, particularly those from grains (HFCS is in that category) are harmful whereas only certain proteins and fats are harmful. I suggest you read either a Gary Taubes book "Good Calories, Bad Calories" for more information on the dangers of carbohydrates. Additionally, Robb Wolf (a libertarian with a political podcast) has written "The Paleo Solution" which is by far the greatest diet book ever written.
