I know, and I totally agree with you in a perfect world, but you have to cast your idealism aside in this world of profit or pain we all live in.

Even if there is a huge $50 per ounce tax, at least 30 million Americans will be saving between $100 and $350 per month compared to the going black market rates.

An average savings of $225 per month for over 30 million Americans would be a very good thing for the overall economy.
