My comp

is on its last legs because when it loads video or loads a site with lots of ads, it sounds like it is going to rip itself apart, but recently my LCD screen has been acting goofy. There is something wrong with the inverter for the lcd and at times the screen will splinter with all different colors; the only way I got it to work was to take the screen apart and put folded over electrical tape over a certain part of the inverter. It is finicky, and when the screen would splinter I'd have to put pressure on both sides of the LCD and the picture would go back to normal, but when I took the pressure off it would splinter again. Everything is connected right, so no issues there, but since I jerry rigged it with the electrical tape it has been fine for the time being. A new lcd is $150, and there is no way I am trying to put that kind of money into this Might as well get one that I like, vista is crap, and it is only a matter of time until my lcd completely goes kaput.

I restored my PC to factory default about 3 months ago solely because I couldn't connect, my ISP provider said I had that DHCP/DNS virus and "that would be the only solution." It turns out, they changed my modem connection password, so all that time they were telling me to type in ******* it was exactly the same but they dropped a vowel. Att are morons for that.
