Comment: Maybe ten years ago...

Two guys driving downtown, cop pulls them over for no turn signal, and calls for back up. The entire department surrounds this car, then they go up and ask the driver to get out of the car, and ask if he has any weapons. Then you hear shots start to go... and it sure SOUNDS like the cops fired first. All they released is audio.
Before it was over, the two men, brothers, were dead. No cops were injured. But the "official story" is that the driver tried to "pull a gun" so the cops shot.
Now, I will never know, but here is what it sounded like to me, and this was when I still thought cops were basically good guys...
It sounded like the man was getting out of the car, and indicated he DID have a weapon and POINTED to it, so they opened fire on him. When the brother realized this was an ambush, he tried to defend himself.
Of course, the department reviewed the incident, and all officers were cleared of any wrongdoing.
