Well, I'll only talk about #3, history, since I majored in it and it was my favorite subject all the way into adulthood. All I have to mention is 4 presidents who are cast in probably a better light than any other president in most school textbooks: Lincoln, Ted Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and FDR. Really, progressivism as a whole is represented in the best light possible in the vast majority of textbooks.
This is why most people pretending to be smart will answer "Lincoln" or "FDR" when you ask them who they think the best president in history was. The truth about those two tyrants was completely hidden from them.
And I had no clue what the Federal Reserve was until like 3 years ago.
