It just isn't as consistent.

Don't misunderstand me, I see how there would be plenty of jobs in the hemp industry but overall when hemp pushes out petroleum for fuel products or cotton for fabrics or even fiberglass in concrete then jobs will be lost in those sectors. For everything you replace with hemp there will be job loss so the job made is a net gain of zero. Unless you are indicating that somehow demand for those products will go up. The other benefits of hemp do make it more desirable and on this we certainly agree. That alone is reason for the utilization of hemp.
