Comment: They are armed

The police have 'rapid response' and 'esso teams' which is the equivalent of your swat teams. We also have quite a few police snipers and long rifle marksmen. They get called out every once in a while.

We had two recent incidents where they were used. A gunman on both occasions shot and killed/injured multiple people. A gunman with multiple firearms also went on a rampage in Cumbria just over a year ago.

In this country it takes hours sometimes for an armed response. It's hit and miss. Oh and I forgot. When it does happen we have no proportionate method of protection. We are told to lock ourselves indoors and keep our fingers crossed?
