PA law requires state testing for homeschoolers every few years. PA law also requires vaccines (or legal exemption), annual check-ups, annual evaluations and portfolios for each child...plus some other demands.
Meanwhile, you don't have to do *anything* if you live in NJ and homeschool.
I'm sure many Pennsylvanian homeschoolers have moved across the Delaware River, just for that liberty...which, like all liberty nowadays, is precarious, and may vanish in the blink of an eye, according to the whims of bureaucrats.
