Is uniting the non Karl Rove/Neo-Con portion of the Republican party. I think his endorsement of Romney was politically expedient, and his attack on Hillary Clinton was nearly a stroke of genius in retrospect, since he may well be running against her if wins the Republican primary.
I would expect the Neo-Con strategy would be to try to "split" the tea party/libertarian vote with a flood of candidates, but I don't see who they could run.
They just fired Sarah Palin so I don't think she owes 'em any favors heh. Perhaps Santorum, but he has been awfully quiet.
Rand Paul vs Hillary Clinton in a debate would be a damn good thing to see.
