how come they're mammals when everyone else underwater's a fish?

Why do their fetuses grow whiskers?
Why do their fetuses begin (pg 2) growing hind legs (pg 449)?
How else can one explain whale avatism?
Why do their lungs breathe surface air like land mammals and unlike all the other fish underwater?
Why do they have 3-boned ears like land mammals and unlike fish?

Why do they birth their young, like land mammals, instead of laying egg clutches, or birthing swarms, like fish? And they need these hip bones for that, which mammals have, and fish don't?

God wouldn't give you a brain and then insist you forgo its use.

Please look up some transitional fossils to see evidence and try to appreciate the magnitude of time involved for changes to take place.
