Depends on how the people manage without their "government" around to protect them anymore.

Let me say that hungry people become very willing people. While the "governments" mission is to destroy the economy in order to starve people into compliance... those of us with the financial ability should be stocking up on food for the very same reason.

Simply put... he who has the food will be calling the shots (granted they also have the capability to defend it).
