Comment: What is racism?
What is racism?
Cops have been brutal forever and the brutality has not been limited to one race or color. When the cops beat Rodney King there were screams of racism because he was black but it was not about race, it about police brutality. When hoards of black people responded by destroyed white owned businesses and beating any white person they could get their hands on it was never called racism even though it was the worst racism.
It is clear from reading Dorner's original manifesto that he does harbor some racist baggage but the bulk of his grievance is about police brutality and corruption yet everyone wants to harp on the racism aspect. This is to drive a wedge and hijack the conversation to divert from the real problem of brutality and corruption.
