Thomas Jefferson wrote in his memoirs that he would have freed his slaves but he knew they would have no where to go and would end up dead or as someone elses slaves.But all you hear is Jefferson was a rich white man and a hippocrite who had slaves.You never hear how they actually admired and adored him.
