I do not see people bashing "Mexicans" without getting put in their place. People bash "illegal immigrants" but that is different.
I smoke, too. I don't feel "bashed" for it. I also know that it is a choice I make and people do not have to respect my choices.
The Catholic Church is guilty of heinous crimes. If you do not know that, you need to do more research into a religion you claim as your own. If you do know that, then you should want the crimes exposed and your Church restored to faithful service to Jesus Christ. If you take complaints against the Church as personal insults, you are just being hypersensitive.
